These terms and conditions of use govern the use of the Lisbon European Green Capital 2020 website. It is recommended that you read this before continuing the visit.


These Terms and Conditions of Use govern the use of the website www.lisboagreencapital2020.com hereinafter referred to as the “website”, owned by the LISBON MUNICIPALITY, hereafter CML.

Objectives / Services: The main purpose of CML websites is to offer its users content, news, services, institutional information, among others.

The User may download or copy material strictly for personal use, and CML will keep the status of the copyright holder.

The User undertakes not to attack or unlawfully use the systems or websites of CML, being responsible and bearing all costs associated with unlawful actions attributed to him. Among others, the following are considered illegal actions:

b) Test and assess system vulnerability and break installed security;

c) Install or attempt to install a virus on the portal;

d) Sending unsolicited emails that include promotions or advertisements for products or services;

CML reserves the right to interrupt or suspend access to CML’s websites for as long as it deems necessary for any technical, administrative, force majeure or other reasons. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, CML shall not be liable for any suspension or interruption of access that may occur for reasons not attributable to it or attributable to mere negligence.

These Terms and Conditions of Use and any rights and licenses granted herein may not be transferred or assigned by the user but may be assigned by CML to any third party without restriction.


These Terms and Conditions of Use and the Privacy Policy shall be governed by Portuguese law and shall be construed in accordance with Portuguese law.

Conflicts and disputes of any nature relating to the formation, execution or interpretation of this Agreement shall be governed by Portuguese law and submitted to the jurisdiction of the Lisbon District Courts, with express waiver of any others.
