Open Air Class - Strategies for Teaching and Learning with Nature
This course aims to encourage the discovery and experience of open air spaces and the contact with nature as an added value to teaching.
The sessions always have a practical aspect of a hands-on experience with nature and its integral elements. These proposed activities are related to the curricular contents of Basic and Primary Education and pre-school age underlying acquisitions.
The type of practical activities to undertake is determined by the seasons of the year and these are to take place mostly outside no matter the weather conditions.
The proposed training, rather than directly address curricular content, aims to promote strategies and pedagogical tools that make it easier for the teacher to think of ways to teach in the natural environment that surrounds him, inside the school and in the surrounding spaces.
1st Training – 15hth of February, 21st and 23rd of March
